Big5
Big5 is a thrilling, innovative talent show where 15 contestants train and compete in music and dance for 12 weeks to earn a place in a five-member pop group, with weekly performances, dramatic duels, and strategic voting shaping their prospects of a dream career.
Big5 is a groundbreaking contest to discover the next chart-topping girl or boy band. Over 12 thrilling weeks, 15 contestants undergo intensive training in music, dance, and styling as they battle for a spot in a five-member pop group. The journey begins with nationwide auditions, where a music producer, pop star, and dance coach select standout performers who receive symbolic “Artist Cards” and enter the Big5 bootcamp.
Each week, contestants are shuffled into groups of five and given just 48 hours to prepare a full performance—choreography, vocals, and styling included. One group is declared safe, while two contestants from the remaining teams duel for survival. Eliminated artists surrender their Artist Cards, but not before casting a “Big Yes” and “Big No” vote that could influence the finale.
For the first seven episodes, new challengers replace those eliminated, keeping the competition fresh. From episode eight onward, no new entrants join, and the remaining contestants battle for a place in the final group. Weekly Big Yes/No ratings reflect growth and charisma, shaping the final outcome alongside public voting.
In the finale, two five-member groups perform for the regular jury and guest stars. The winning group debuts with a professionally produced song and video, following in the footsteps of Manifest—Big5’s breakout girl group sensation.
