“The Mashup” is a revolutionary music contest where duos fuse two contrasting songs live, spin a genre wheel to test their versatility, and perform on a dramatic infinity-shaped stage—culminating in a solo showdown with celebrity partners for the ultimate prize.

“The Mashup” is a show that revolutionizes the music contest format, merging two distinct songs into one electrifying performance. It challenges duos to creatively blend genres, rhythms, and melodies in real time, turning familiar hits into emotionally charged new experiences. This fusion of musical worlds is its core concept, offering a fresh take on live performance.

The contest kicks off with 12 duos performing self-selected mashups. From the second episode, each team spins a genre wheel—ranging from Pop to Metal or Jazz to Hip Hop—forcing them to adapt and innovate. The format pushes contestants to explore unfamiliar musical territory, keeping audiences engaged with each episode.

Visually, the show is a spectacle. The infinity-shaped stage symbolizes musical unity, with red and blue halves representing each performer’s identity. As the performance begins, moving walkways bring the duo together. A vertical LED “Mashup Meter” displays live voting results from a jury of music experts and the studio audience, building suspense throughout the show.

To avoid elimination, duos must score at least 70% - with the jury accounting for 40% of the vote and the audience 60%. If successful, the stage reacts dramatically — colors merge and platforms accelerate, celebrating their musical harmony. The season ends with a Grand Finale, where finalists go solo and perform with celebrity singers. But only one solo artist can win the ultimate prize.
